Tailwinds is a pet-travel concierge service, dedicated to ensuring stress-free air travel experiences for pet parents and their pets; by planing every detail of their air journey and guiding them throughout their entire trip.


The Problem
Flying with pets has always presented challenges. You have to check different airline policies to see if your pet can fly in cabin, Go through all the booking procedures, just to buy a ticket for your pet. And the resources and guidances are limited. Every aspect of flying, booking tickets, preparing, boarding, or being on the plane leave pet parents anxious.As more people adopted their pets during the pandemic and had plan for pet travel after the pandemic, there is a 20% rise in pets on commercial flights and an 86% increase in pets on private jets over the past two years. Still flying with pets is stressful and overwhelming. It’s the time for a change!
Pet parents who plan to fly with their dogs in the US are our target audience. We conducted the survey and interviews to gain insights. W hat they are most concerned is the safety issues (57%), limited flight solutions (25%), and fear of disturbance to other passengers (17%).
How might we ensure a stress-free flight experience for both pet parents and pets?

Features
This pet-friendly app serves as your one-stop platform for all things pet travel, by offering three key features: booking assistance, guidances and community.0) Onboarding
On our homepage, we recommend pet-friendly destinations that are within a suitable flying distance for your pet, ensuring a comfortable travel time. During the onboarding phase, we don’t require pet parents to fill out any information. Instead, all necessary details will be taken care of by our agents once you’re connected.
1) Booking Assistance
Our personal agent reaches out to you to get to understand your needs for the trip and help you find the most ideal travel solutions. Skipping all the complicated booking process, we will have your tickets ready in couple minutes. Our concierge service doesn’t end after booking. 24/7 concierge service will always on standby to support and guide you step by step during your trip.
2) Community
We build a pet-parent community where you can find support by browsing other pet parents’ shared flying experiences.
3) Guidances
A guidebook has been updated to the app after the booking. This streamlines the preparations you need to make for flying. Each action item provides personalized guides and special tips.

One day there will be fewer restrictions for pets to go onboard.
