Mahjong Generation

‘Mahjong Generation’ is a documentary film that redefines Mahjong by spotlighting the NYC  Riichi Mahjong Club, where a vibrant community of young players is dedicated to revitalizing the game. By challenging the stereotype of Mahjong as an activity for the elderly, the film highlights how this generation passionately integrates the game into their daily lives, and bringing fresh energy to this timeless tradition. They are the new Mahjong Generation.
