I’m a brand and editorial designer who brings fresh and vibrant energy to brands and grounds them in thoughtful design executions.

I find inspiration in unexpected places and solve problems in bold, original ways. My work spans branding, editorial, prints and illustration, but at the heart of it, I just love crafting visuals that enrich everyday life and bring people closer together. I’ve helped businesses and cultural communities bring their unique stories to life, creating moments of connection with the people that matter most to them. Authenticity, connection, and excellence are always at the core of my work!

When I’m not designing, I’m probably travelling, swimming, playing tennis, walking my dog Homie, or playing video games.

	Tailwinds
	Tailwinds is a pet-travel concierge service, dedicated to ensuring stress-free air travel experiences for pet parents and their pets. This project focuses on creating a visual identity that reflects Tailwinds' commitment to stress-free, pet-centric, and reliable travel. Tailwinds comes to life across a pet-friendly website, app, campaigns, and travel guides. Here, we build trust, show care, and create connections with pet parents and pets.

	
	Concept&#38;nbsp;Flying with pets has always presented challenges. You have to check different airline policies to see if your pet can fly in cabin, go through all the booking procedures, just to buy a ticket for your pet. And the resources and guidances are limited. Every aspect of flying, booking tickets, preparing, boarding, or being on the plane leave pet parents anxious.

	It’s time for a change.
Tailwinds, as a pet travel concierge service, takes care of your paw-ssenger’s air journey, by planing every detail of their journey, guiding them throughout their entire trip and creating a supportive pawssenger community—a growing network of pet travelers who share tips and stories.

	CampaignTailwinds is starting small, focusing on six cities known for their busiest airports and largest number of traveling dogs. The campaign includes billboards, flags, bus station ads, and benches scattered throughout the cities.Travel books and brochures will provide more in-depth information, offering valuable resources and travel tips to pet parents. These materials will highlight Tailwinds' deep understanding of pet travel. 


	All design materials maintain Tailwinds' consistent layout with elegant typography choice, vibrant color palette, and photos of happy dogs on vacation.

	Surnames
	‘Surnames’ is a unique dictionary of Chinese Surnames. Unlike traditional translation dictionaries, this book does not solely rely on translation cliches but explores the original meanings and stories behind Chinese names. It illuminates the similarities and differences between these two great linguistic traditions. It is a book that has never been attempted before, and we are overjoyed to share it with the world.

	Through exquisite perfect binding design, we ensure that the layout not only captivates visually but also offers an excellent reading experience. Each page layout is meticulously crafted to showcase the origins, evolution, and cultural significance of surnames, complemented by relevant images and text. This allows readers to delve deep into the stories and impacts behind each surname. 580 Pages. It’s a fat book. We are thrilled beyond words to design the book and share it with the world.

	Rethink Food

	Since 2020, Rethink Food has invested $8 million into NYC’s Chinatown restaurants. To honor this milestone in the Year of the Snake, we designed&#38;nbsp;a maximalist event identity with a winding snake that forms a symbolic “8” amidst traditional Asian vegetables. It celebrates the abundance and continuity at the heart of Chinatown—a community that has long nourished us all.

	Concept
The visual core is a narrative illustration of the “$8 million” milestone, set in the heart of Chinatown and witnessed by the snake. Rather than a literal reference to the number, the imagery reflects an ongoing cycle of growth and nourishment made possible by Rethink Food’s continued support of Chinatown.


The color palette pairs Rethink Food’s signature green with Chinatown Strong’s vibrant orange—green representing Rethink Food’s institutional mission, and orange grounding the identity in the energy of Chinatown. Together, the contrast bridges structured impact with grassroots vitality.
	The system extended across invitation posters, custom T-shirts, and the event deck— designed to live in the space and move with the crowd.

	‘Chinatown Banner 2025’ is a vibrant series of banners displayed throughout New York City’s Chinatown. Created as part of an initiative to add to the festive atmosphere of Chinatown, this project introduces a design that speaks to a younger audience while remaining welcoming to all generations.&#38;nbsp;

	ConceptFeaturing the Chinese zodiac animals—the Dragon and Snake—to mark the transition from the Year of the Dragon (2024) to the Year of the Snake in 2025, this banner series includes three designs: one with a dragon, one with a snake, and one with the Chinese character "福" (fortune), symbolizing prosperity and good wishes for Chinatown.  
	We adapted the geometric graphic illustration style to stand out amidst the many traditional signs and decorations in Chinatown.&#38;nbsp;
The color palette was carefully selected in alignment with the Chinatown B.I.D (Client)’s branding. After testing various options, we found that a deep blue provided the strongest visual impact, allowing the banners to be both distinctive and harmonious within the neighborhood’s streetscape.

	Pillow-cat Books

	Pillow-Cat Books is the first animal themed bookshop in New York. It is small, pink, and filled with used, new, vintage and antique animal books of all types and in all languages. This rebranding project is on a mission to craft a fresh, cohesive visual identity that will enable Pillow-Cat Books to connect with a broader audience. New branding solution features store flag, business cards, exquisite wrapping paper, website, instagram posts...as well as pillows!&#38;nbsp;

	ConceptPillow-cat Books’ branding identity is primarily embodied in its mascot, a pillow-shaped cat, handling book sourcing responsibilities. We creatively use books as the cat’s whiskers and a heart as its nose to convey a cute image of love and care for books. However, Pillow-cat Books is not just about cats; we are a bookstore that celebrates all animals. Therefore, icons are extended to pillow-dogs, pillow-bunnies, frogs, bird.. as well.&#38;nbsp;

	 For our typeface choice, we selected Iskra, which is vivid and dynamic, yet maintains the seriousness required for a logo. In the logo, we intentionally tilted the "i" slightly to mimic a book on a shelf.&#38;nbsp;As a unique animal bookstore featured in rare and collectible books, we incorporate these book covers into our branding patterns, which can be seen on the website, posters, and Instagram. These patterns can be updated based on monthly book lists or categorized by different animals.

	Color and Pattern
All books and purchases come wrapped in our special wrapping paper and stickers, whether it is a gift or not! We want all our customers—animal or human—to be happy and fully satisfied! To achieve this, we designed four distinct patterns for warpping paper that blend illustrations and typography. Stickers feature icons of animals that correspond to the type of book. 
 
	
	Pillow-Cat’s branding colors align perfectly with bold and vibrant hues, leading us to choose green (bookstore color) and red (heart) as our primary colors, and purple and pink for our secondary colors.&#38;nbsp;
We hope that every time you think of Pillow-cat, you'll remember that green animal bookstore on the corner of a NYC street, recall the joy of unwrapping your book, and feel the happiness that comes with reading a beloved book.&#38;nbsp;We aim to create a warm, welcoming space that brings joy and curiosity with every visit.

	Mahjong Generation
	‘Mahjong Generation’ is a documentary film that redefines Mahjong by spotlighting the NYC&#38;nbsp; Riichi Mahjong Club, where a vibrant community of young players is dedicated to revitalizing the game. By challenging the stereotype of Mahjong as an activity for the elderly, the film highlights how this generation passionately integrates the game into their daily lives, and bringing fresh energy to this timeless tradition. They are the new Mahjong Generation.

	
	The title sequence is rooted in a distinctive reddish color, inspired by the glow of the ‘麻雀’ neon light, which serves as a central visual motif. This striking color is further enhanced by sparkling light effects on title sequences, creating a dynamic and engaging atmosphere that sets the tone for the film.  
	Red neon light, red nails, red sweaters, red Mahjong tiles... forms a cohesive visual identity that symbolizes energy, passion, and modernity, spotlighting the vibrant and youthful spirit of this Mahjong community.Together, the film and its design choices form a seamless and compelling visual narrative that celebrates the bold spirit of this new Mahjong generation.

	Libraille
Industry: Accessibility, TypographyProject Type: Website, Editorial, Typeface Design, Design ConceptsAdvisor: Justin Colt @thecollectedworksYear: 2023

	Libraille, derived from “library” and “braille”,&#38;nbsp;is an archive of typographic braille design. As an archive website and editorial publication, it creates and collects Braille typefaces used across different design contexts, such as Noir, branded for a culinary experience restaurant, and Sense, created for a textile clothing line.

	Libraille explores how Braille can go beyond function. Though this is a conceptual design, I hope that an archive like Libraille could exist one day—inviting designers, educators, and the public to see Braille not only as an accessibility tool, but also as a creative and inclusive design medium.
